h7 hids HELPPPPPPPP
i'm about to install h7 hids. will i need to change to a bigger amp fuse? i read and heard some ppl had to cause it kept going out. but if u would have to change to a bigger fuse, any long term conflicts or corrosions in the wire harnesses?

RE: h7 hids HELPPPPPPPP
I just ordered mine. Some people say u have to, some people say no. Best bet is to plug it on and see what happens..if it blows the fuse..change the stock 10 to something higher...
I don't know the long twerm effects though..that would nice to know though so u don't mess anything up |
RE: h7 hids HELPPPPPPPP
I have had mine in and haven't had any issues with fuses. You have the entire kit? Ignitors, ballasts and HID bulbs?

RE: h7 hids HELPPPPPPPP
You should not need to upgrade the fuse.

RE: h7 hids HELPPPPPPPP
Some people have had to put in 20amp fuses, but one member found that if you let the bike and ballasts warm up before turning on the high beam he would no longer blow his fuse.

ORIGINAL: Tanknuts Some people have had to put in 20amp fuses, but one member found that if you let the bike and ballasts warm up before turning on the high beam he would no longer blow his fuse. I ran them for 2 years with no issues what so ever. |
