Default H.I.D. Head Lamps

Hello,

I recently bought some HID lamps & ballest and the ballast blew already. Of course they are not covered under warranty. But I have been reading reviews of different brands and it "seems" that its common to have issues with the ballast. Do you guy know a good brand to get or is this just the "nature of the beast"?

No they should not just burn out so soon, if you recently got it how is it not under warranty?

Look at www.ddmtuning.com if your not going the retrofit route.

Good quality, cheap and a lifetime warranty on all products.

DDM tuning is generally regarded as garbage....and it is. I should know I have a set.

With the links i put above you're getting laser aligned bulbs, less glare, better light output, real support from the company (the owner of retro-solutions posts on my car forum too), lower startup power draw, better reliability, better color output...etc

Too each there own, There are more people that like ddm then don't liek them.
I have purchased over 10 sets over the last 4 years from ddm for myself and friends and only recently I had to send one bulb back for a refund and after 4 years they responded within 24hrs with an RMA# and replaced it no questions asked.

I have a DDM kit on the way but I think next time I might go with the retrofit. They have killer reviews and didn't discover them until after I had already ordered the DDM kit but I'll give the DDM kit a shot and see how it goes.

I've been pretty happy with my DDM Tuning kit. Definitely a good bargain if you want HIDs but don't want to spend too much.

Im not doubting that they can last a long time, but there is much more to a precisely engineered lighting system that "does it turn on or not". Arc height of the bulb, the alignment and color output need to be accurate
