I am really not convinced that I would ever have more fun on a 1000. Not that I wouldn't, but I feel that the 600 is a PERFECT sized motorcycle...for what I want to do anyway.

Most people on a 1000 can't ride anyway. Best complement I got when a rider w. 20+ yrs said that I ride my 600 like it's a 1000 and have no problem keeping up w. he and his buddies on their 1000's and Busas.

You know the funny thing is everyone thinks these bikes are so easy to ride. Mine still has more ***** than I do, even after 2yrs of ridin. People keep askin me when I'm goin to a litre bike and I tell em mine's plenty fast. Have fun and be safe.
I get that all the time too.... "so when ya getting a 1000??". I just shrug and say "ehh I dunno, maybe someday". Although I do still want my RC-51 just cuz it's a pimp bike, but still would never get rid of my beloved F4i for one. I've ridden my buddies RC (before it got stolen ), and my other buddies 1000RR and both handle COMPLETELY different than my 600, it's like I've gotta learn how to ride it again each time I do, and they say the same thing about mine. Me after 2 years and just over 71,000 miles on my F4i, I'm still perfectly content with it. It's plenty fast for me, and with my new gear change of +3 in the rear and a PCIII, it feels like a whole new bike!

Anyways, congrats d00d on the new bike!! F4i is a great bike, you won't be disappointed!
