all the dampers are the same for all the sport bikes.
the difference is in the mounting kit...so if you can find a mount for your bike then you should be ok...

Sorry to revive this thread, but I am looking to do the same thing to my 01 F4i, I get a descent bit of wobble when I shift into 2nd hard, so I would like to go and do the GSXR Stabilizer mod on the cheap. Did you have any luck mounting the damper and do you have pics??

If you are wanting to install a stock GSXR damper you are wasting your time. The stock one on my buddy's GSXR 1000 is useless and does nothing but take up space. the stockers are junk and wear out fast. Plus they arent adjustable. just spend the money on a hyperpro, gpr, or scotts with the mounting kit for your bike and you will be much happier and have a damper that actually works.

You can probably fix that wobble with a bit of suspension tuning.

Where in my post did I state that it was impossible to fit a GSXR damper on an F4i, or 929 like the threat you referenced? I Didn't. All I simply said was that GSXR STOCK dampers are junk. I know this because I have ridden my buddy's GSXR 1K and the damper felt non-existant in comparison to my hyperpro. Thats why I said its a waste of time, not that it was not possible. If you want a good damper, buy one. If you want to be cheap or like to fab stuff, then go with the stock GSXR one.
