Grinding brakes

My front brakes seem to sort of grind when coming to a stop. I only notice it at lights/slow speed stuff. It's still smooth feeling, I have a good amount of pad left but it sounds like a car when pads are worn.

Normal?

Thanks for any help

My rear brake squealed a bit. Usually at slow speeds coming to a stop. Sunday I flushed the brake fluid, took 80 grit sand paper to the pads, cleaned the rotors with brakleen and bled the brakes. No more squeal. Rear brake can now lock the rear wheel.

So when was the last time you flushed the fluid, cleaned the rotors and deglazed the pads? ;)

yeah they r prolly just really dirty, clean them up and see if that helps, if not at least it didnt really cost any more than your time

You have metallic brake pads and multible holes in the rotor cutting into said metal pads. Your going to get noise.

That's the sound of brake pads squeezing rotors. It's normal.
