Default GPS,DC OUTLET and ready for the long haul!

Hey guys I was wanting to get a gps for my bike for a while and here it is. I used a ram mount...the one i got was suppost to mount to the bars but we know that wont work due to space on the bars. I didnt like the tank mounts bc i like to duck under my bubble on h/w's for less wind...more comfy for me, soi purchased that kit and fabbed my own mount under the two front tank bolts. Works best for me. I made my 1st one and may make another one that looks better, but this ones good for now i just wanted to get some ideas for myself and this is what i came up with. I'll make a nicer looking one at work but this was a "sat job" lol.I just wanna ride I also installed a d/c outlet in the tail, for gps/ tire pump, or w/e else i'd like to use. Here are some pics hopefully if i do this right.

I was about to buy one and wire it up myself, but saw one already made on ebay for like 7 bucks including shipping! You can just buy one from the store though and wire it up yourself if you know how to. Just make sure you have circuit protection inline.

Very cool idea. I have to come up with a similar idea for my bike.

I'll have to take a snap of the inside of my tail... 2 sockets, 2 left over SAE 2 pin plugs, the audiocom plugged into the third SAE plug. Speedohealer next to that...

Good work man - that's where my GPS is going - I brought a kit online that mounts there... should arrive in a couple of days. Notice the speedo error much?
