Going back to stock exhaust
This is how I purchased the bike.
What do I need to buy to go back to stock? Just the rear slip on part? http://i33.tinypic.com/jz9s2e.jpg |
Why are you wanting to go back to stock? You need to see if it's got the stock headers all the way back or if it's a full exhaust, then you can go from there.
|
Its way too loud in the morning.
What exactly do I need to check for? How do I know if the headers are stock? |
Send Me ya Exhaust , Ill send Ya my Stock , Then Youll Be Back to STOCK !!!! Lol ,
If That Two Bros pipe is a Slip on , unbolt , at the bottom where the headers and exhaust meet, then bolt on ya stock !! and thats It |
Lets say the header's aren't stock, any thing wrong with throwing the stock slip on back on?
|
no at all , u might feel a lil difference in performance, But with aftermarket headers ya bikes still gonna be a lil louder than completely stock
|
how is it just loud in the mornings and not any other time??? :)

yeah!!!! you sure it's not just the loud sound from a cold start? :icon_wink: |
It idles at like 3k rpm when its warming up. Sounds like a jet engine!
|
+1! my 3k idle sucks in the morning.. it's cold, so it's loud. and the neighbors glare... if i keep it in the garage and warm it up, it echoes throughout the house, so I don't win either way haha. I have a scorpion titanium exhaust, and it's a pain.. damn suburbs.
