Getting Bella Checked Out

Bella is the name I've given my F4i. I'm not sure if it's just me, or maybe it's really the bike, but lately it feels like the bike is losing power or maybe it's just that I'm getting used to the power.

The brakes I know are becoming a problem even though I've checked the wear and tear on the pads and they seem to show minimal wear, but my wheels seem to lock up about 3/4 of the time when I do some quick breaking. If they lock, I release and reapply firm pressure, and no, I am not slamming on the brakes.

I'm thinking about bringing the F4i to the shop to get it check out. The bike currently has 7K miles on it, about 50 or so to 7K miles, and my next maintenance at East Bay Motorsports is at 8K miles. Should I wait till then to get the bike checked up or should I bring it in now? Imma bring it in to a nearby shop to get it checked out ASAP, but what do you guys think?

If something is seriously wrong, don't wait. But if it's only extreme braking, and you can avoid it unless necessary, hold off if it doesn't affect you day to day. Unless you want to spend the money/have it to spend?

Yeah, I just got back from dinner with a few friends and I had my friend ride it around a bit after I told him what I thought, and he got back and told me that it just me getting used to the power because he can still feel the power, but the brakes are pulsating and on quick stops, the brakes lock up and or pulsate a bit. You can feel it pulsate form the front forks...but yeah, it's nothing serious, so i'll hold off until the 8K maintenance

Sounds like you might need a rotor soon. Anyone know if anything else can cause front end vibration during braking on a bike?

rotors only get ****ed up after hard braking and you keep the brake on after you stopped
