i have a question about gear shifting. When the bike is in neutral and i put it in first gear it makes a loud noise, and the bike shakes a little i bought the bike 3 weeks ago and it only did that sometimes, now it keeps on making a loud noise, pleeeeasseeee help am i braking the bike if i still ride it like that?

while you are sitting still neutral-1st or when you are down shifting while riding 2nd - neutral-1st?

what rpm are you doing this at? idle or cold start?

Mine has always done this. Shifting from neutral into first is a noticable clunk as the engine engages the chain. It might be normal. I've ridden it for three years without problems.

It is normal...I just saw this answered like 2 days ago. you're fine. go rip it up everyones bike does it.

If it really lurches when you drop it into first you may need to adjust your clutch. Otherwise for the most part yea it is normal. There is a mod you can do to smooth the shifting out, I thought I saw a good step by step here on this forum in fact.

yes all bikes do it. you will get use to it.
