Gauge Backlight Not Working
Hey guys, I bought an F4i gauge for my F3 and I'm positive that everything is wired up correctly but there is one small issue that I know will drive me insane. I can't get the backlight to work.
That said, I don't know if the bike actually needs to be running in order for it to turn on, or if it needs to be dark (dark/light sensor on the right of the gauge??) I appreciate the help, Q |
I don't know if being dark has anything to do with it, but I know I can't see mine lit up unless it is dark outside. I've never found a sensor either. That little sensor-looking thing to the right of the tach, that is actually an RPM warning light, it lights up if/when you hit 14,500 RPMs (or maybe it's 14,000). But yeah, if it's the least little bit daylight I cannot see my backlight.

Thanks! Also just found out the brown/white wire takes care of illumination. Gonna give the connection a jiggle tomorrow.
