Hey man, im not sure if you have found the answer yet, but if you haven't the answer is pretty simple. Take the cap off of the bike with the three main allen head screws holding it to the tank. Next, pry the small O-ring off from around the cylinder (about half an inch in diameter). Then, unlock the cap. Then on the underside use a flat head screwdriver, knife etc..to push the rubber cover away from the main body of the cap and with another knife or screwdriver, pry out the flat metal ring laying around the underside of the cap (about 3 inches in diameter) It is hard to see but just wedge the knife or small flathead around the underside of the cap prying upwards and it will eventually come out. Once you have done this, there are three or four small phillips head screws which you need to remove while still peeling back that big rubber cover. Once you take out the screws, you are good to go!
