Default GPS Mount for F4i

Since I work for Clarion, I test a lot of different PND (Portable Navigation Device) and I ride my bike everyday I also need a place to mount the PND. I am currently using our EZD580 Portable Navigation.
What I did was used the bracket that came with the PND and made four 1/8" holes that would line up with a Pana-Vise mounting post. I then used a T-Nut inside of the Pana-Vise post. Then I used the OEM plastic yoke cover and drilled a hole in the middle of it and used a bolt with a washer to connect it to the T-Nut that is in the Pana-Vise post. Once I had the correct angle to see the screen, I tightened up the hex bolts and mounted the PND in the yoke.
I will take some pictures of the finished project and post them for you.I have attached a picture of the left side of my bike and you can kind of see the PND mount. I will get better pictures for you.

If you email me directly, I will send you the step by step instructions with pictures that I will make for you in excel. If you also need the parts, I will check to see that I have in my garage.

I had the camera mount and used it for the PND, but it was not a good location for the navi. It sits too close. Needs to be a little more forward. That is why I chose to mount it in the center yoke.

Here is my set up:

I put in ~500 miles with it so far and it seems to be holding up pretty well.

RAM mount makes a tapered plug type mount that goes down the hollow center of steering stem. I have one on my F4i. It has an expanding plug to hold it tight that sort of works okay.

I'm thinking of securing it with a threaded rod all the way through.
