Default IAT or ECM

My bike starts and idles. When I reeve the engine, it chokes. When the engine warms up it dies and cannot be started up again.

FI light gives code to check IAT (intake air temp). The resistance on the IAT sensor is good, and so is the voltage on the wires. The service manual recommends a new ECM. I can't find a new ECM online or can I afford a used ECM until my next pay check.

My question is that has anyone encountered a bad IAT sensor even though the resistance readings were according to spec?

I haven't encountered a bad IAT on any of my vehicles, but on the bike it's a $15 part so it's certainly worth a shot before replacing the ECM.

Apparently, there's another way to test if the IAT or ECM is at fault. Youtube!

Sadly, I only get a 2.8v coming from IAT. So according to both the service manual and youtube, I need to find me another ecm. :\
