i recently removed my tank to have it it painted, once i reconnected all the hoses and connections, i attempted to start it. whenever i turn the key the fuel pump runs. after reconnecting, the fuel pump doesnt run. i feel ive exhausted many options and cannot seem to pin point the issue. any suggestions?

 

what do u mean after reconnecting? like now after its reconnected the fuel pump doesnt run like it used to? just want to make sure i get what your saying. if your gauges are working like normal-start checking wires. see if its getting power. im not calling u stupid but if it ran before just fine, u might have just forgotten to plug a connector in

ive done that way too many times....

 

yeah i reconnected all the hoses and the connector off the pump. everything works the way it did before. the gauges come on, the lights, it even trys turning over when i press the ignition button, but once i turn the keep, i should hear it priming. it worked fine before. im sure its something simple, but im out ideas.

 

i would check just to make sure youre getting power to the pump and then try wiring the pump to power to make sure it works.
