Front forks, will I shoot my eye out?
oh no, i took the forks off the bike and was removing the top bolt, the chrome just slid down, same difference i guess.
things arent looking good, so far it seems one compresses differently than the other, but somehow i think i turned the rebound adjuster? the small screw in the bigger one at the top.

Next time you take it apart, unless it is still apart, replace the springs. Get the ones for your weight. Racetech sells them for around $109, totally worth it.
well i think im about 175 and i plan on losing some of that, doing some p90x since last week.. is that 109 a set? i really need to research alot about suspension then.
i was thinking about getting a more progressive rebound.. if that even helps.. i will be polishing these tubes for some time so i have time to contemplate the innards
the only thing i know about suspension is sag, rebound (not sure the benefits) and that when you are in a turn you want to be halfway into that suspension.
i thought about replacing the forks with another bike but i figured honda made it as it needed to be and i didnt want a nightmare since i so badly need to go to the track with it.

They come as a pair. The stock springs are for a rider thats like 140, and yours are probably worn out anyway. They do loose their spring when they are old.
Part of the fork service, as instructed in the factory shop manual, is to measure run out on your fork tubes - as well as measuring your springs. However, as 74demon said, your springs are most likely in need of replacement. A good upgrade to better springs will do wonders for OEM forks.
Give Racetech Race Tech Suspension a call, they'll hook you up w/ you need.
