Flat spot around 5,000 rpms?

Default Flat spot around 5,000 rpms?

I was wondering if anybody else's bike felt like it had a flat spot around 5,000 rpm's? and if so what would be a good way to fix it? i heard putting a power commander on would fix this but thats alot of money and maintence. isnt there another way?

Yeah down shift ! 600 can take a beating and love those high rpm's thats what i always do and was told by my honda mech. 5th gear is awesome ! try it .

Set of sprockets will liven her up at low rpm's
