Well I'm going to be a first time buyer here shortly I hope. Local Honda dealership has a new '05 CBRF4i but still is asking $8000 for it. I called a few dealerships down near Detroit and they are asking around $7300 for new '06s. I checked Kelly Blue Book but since they are for used bikes they gave me a price of $6500. Since I'm new I'm looking for advice, I just figured they would want to move the old bike since the '07s aren't that far down the road. Just wondering what you guys think would be fair. Thanks for the help guys.

 

There is no reason to pay that much for an '05. The only difference between the '05 and '06 models is color.

 

i got my 05 f4i from south florida in november 05 for 7199 + everything they add on (setup, tax, tag, title, etc). you should get a better deal than that for one 6 months later.

i don't see why you wouldn't jump on one of those deals for an 06, unless you like the 05 colors better.
