Finally Finished My Paint Job..

So i Finally repaired, bondo'ed, and sanded up my bike after a little accident bike in Cali and repainted her all white. Guy at the shop took forever to do it so i picked the bike up and brought it home to do all the work myself, had it done in 2 weeks, I used Dupli-Color Acrylic Lacquer White and then Clear. While i was at it i changed the rim stripes to red and changed my first rear tire as well, not bad. Check it out, let me know what you guys think!
Am also going with a All White with a Red theme on the bike so i still have to add red levers, grips and anything else i can replace to red. Also have the flushmounts on the way. |
Looks great! So clean. Gets some decals on her and she'll look even better.

Looks nice and clean, I'm also a fan of white.

Looks nice man! Where did you buy your paint, and how much prep work did you have to do?

..as for the paint i just went down to advance auto parts and bought the dupli-color brand. For the prep work i first had to fix the cracks and 2 inch dent on the gas tank with bondo, from there it was just sanding down (80-100 grit sandpaper on the damaged areas, 150 on the good areas, 400 on the primer, then 1500-2000 on the clear coat, followed by rubbing compound). Here's some pics of the prep work; |
