FI Light on question/Help

So I need a little help because I am not sure what it means. Yesterday I was getting my bike ready for the summer and a trip down to the Dragon. I did a few small tune ups to it. I replaced the spark plugs and changed the oil. I then took it out for a nice ride with no problems. Then today when I was riding into class my FI light came on and when I would throttel down or down shift, and I had what sounded like back pressure out of the exhaust. The bike started and ran fine with no other problems. I am not sure what the problem is from. I did have to remove the air box to get to the plugs, but I connected all the hoses and sensors to the correct outlets/inlets and also covered the intakes so nothing would fall in. Please help if you can.

Thanks

Make sure you reconnected everything back together tightly.

I had the same problem, I removed the airbox to clean the throttle bodies and replace the spark plugs a couple weeks back, and when I turned the bike back on the FI light was on. Turns out I completely didnt plug one of the sensors back in. Yours might not be tightly in. Also the FI light can be used to diagnose, by jumping the diagnostic plug, depending on the number of blinks, you can reference the code in the manual to see whats up. If it was running fine before, chances are something isnt tightly connected or plugged in.

Thanks! When i started the bike up again the light was off and the whole ride home it did not come on. So I will double check all the connections. Thanks again.
