"FI" light

Hey everyone, I am new to the sight and new to motorcycles as well. I have just recently purchased a 2006 f4i for my first bike and it is reading 23 on the error code which is the o2 sensor. I know dynojet makes a bypass type plug and my question is will that make your bike run rough at all, cause I know it sets your compression ratio or something like that

Air/Fuel Ratio is what you are thinking, and I am not even sure if it does anything to that. It may just be like the second O2 sensor on newer cars and reads to see if there is a cat present. My 02 Doesn't have an O2 sensor from the factory.

Does it have an aftermarket exhaust? You will get this code if you dont properly address the rear O2 sensor on an 2006 f4i

I used these instructions and my bike runs great with no codes:

My bike is totally stock, no pipe or power comander. So should I just wait till I install my pipe and k&n air filter to worry about this? And your correct, your 02 doesn't have one unless it's a Cali model. They put o2 sensors in all of the 2006 bikes
