Default Fi

So I just recently got a 2001 f4i w 13,000 miles on it. I've been ridding it for a couple weeks now and everything was great until yesterday when all of a sudden the fi light came on and then the bike shut off on me. Now if I start it it runs for a minute and dies. Anybody out there have any similar issues?

Man I hate these questions but since you said FI instead of F1 like everyone else I feel the need to help lol. You need to start with the basics and give us that info before we can really make a guess. Check fuel pressure and spark while the engine cranks.

Jump the connector and retrieve the code for the FI light. That will point you in the right direction.

Now the fi light doesn't come on at all but there is a solid red light on the left hand side of the green neutral light that is on and it turns over but will not fire.
