I don't know how you guys are just assuming they're Ebay fairings, just because of the graphics that are on them. Maybe the guy wanted something different so he painted them, or added a decal set, or both?

Personally I can't tell just from his one picture, and I know the F4i fairly well...

Adol that very well maybe custom, because it is not the same as the ebay design....
Close but not the same, look at the CBR sticker on the front cowl, the flames start and progress different on your bike. I say sweet bike the paint looks to have metalic flake which is a good sign that it was custom. Wether painted here or in hong kong I don't know?

Pull a side fairing it is not that hard, a 5mm Allen and screwdriver and you have your answer. Either way nice bike. The only concern is if the previous owner wasn't honest on the fairing's paint, what else is looming?

He also did take care of the contrasting wing section sticker on the tank..but how..is the black shadow section painted or is that the lack of gloss from the sticker removal??

The tank still has the original wing section, but it is covered by somekinda tape. I will pull the fairings just to see. I would wait for it to rain, but I live in the desert. O man if he wasn't.... and there could be..... shoot your gonna make me a bit paranoid now THANKS CMAN! :P

Even if they are aftermarket fairings, who cares? They look fine, and you already bought the bike. No point in losing sleep.

Aken, dude no sleep lost trust me. I'm all good! I just didn't want to produce false info to people saying, "That theres custom work done" and have it not be. thats all.

loudninja, I kinda think I'm the only one in Mesquite with a CBR so I don't think anyone would notice either way. so we're all good. :P

On a side note how many miles are on the bike?
You could go ahead and change the oil while you have the fairing off.
Didn't mean to make you paranoid, even if they are ebay and the bike was in a horrible wreck, the bike looks good and runs fine, right?

My bike was downed by previous owner, and he said so. I have had zero problems.

pull the fairing and you have your answer, plus inquiring minds want to know.

I a side note I plan on buying ebay fairings to change the look of my bike. I see nothing wrong with them. $500 and a little fitting problem here or there vs $1500 for oem. You tell me.
