Default Fairings, how do I know?

Hey everyone,
I was hoping to get a little help on this one. I just bought an '04 f4i and was told by the seller. He had a shop paint the fairings. After posting pics on the sight I was asked how do I like the ebay fairings? This kinda caught me off gaurd. I did some comparing and I see minor differences but still am not sure. Looking close at my fairings you can see what looks like sanding done under the paint and what looks like slight paint bleed on flame edges from tape. Is there a way I can tell for sure what I have?

The person who made the Ebay comment might've just assumed that's where you got them. You can easily tell if it's OEM by removing the fairing and looking for Honda's part number. Chances are you do just have a repainted bike.

im pretty sure those are ebay plastics. About 90% sure unless someone just copied an idea from those fairings and did a custom job themselves on oem fairings.

the front fender and the tail look like they are oem adolissy.

but the two side fairings and the front upper probably aren't.

well i have been talking to one of the ebay sellers and i asked if i can change the flames a little and have no badging on the fairings,

he said

"Yeah we can do a special ordre like that for you. It will cost $15 extra though is that okay?"

hes ebay company is "motofansclub"

but i do see how the front and side fairing have the flames conect unlike all the the different kind on ebay. but never know.

Looks like the fairings from Hong Kong, nothing against them. I'll be purchasing a set soon, Red honda wing on white for an F4.
