Fairing bolt kits
#2
I mixed and matched and it wasn't worth the time, headache, quality and effort. If I could do it again I'd by a nice set from probolt-USA.com (i think that's the site). Their stuff is nice.. A little pricey though. Was looking at their titanium sprocket nuts. Not worth the cost at all though. Very nice looking though.

You can buy your own.
Invest in a thread pitch gauge and a ruler.
Measure the thread pitch by removing a bolt and lining it up against the gauge. Measure the diameter and length of the bolt and buy closest match.
I.e. if the thread pitch is 1 mm, the bolt it 6 mm wide and the threaded part is 12 mm long, you need to buy an M6 x 1 x 12 bolt.
You will mostly be buying button head, hex head and socket head bolts, for fairings, flanged button head are ideal. Most fairing bolts are M6x1, most screen bolts are M5x0.8. Buy them in A2 or A4 stainless. I wouldn't use stainless on load bearing bolts such as caliper mounting bolts as eGay specials tend to be a bit fragile.
The rubber nut things that hold your screen on, and hold your black V piece on are called well nuts.
