ORIGINAL: Tahoe SC
no need for 3R unless you're racing and plan on running high octane fuel all the time. at best you can tune it for 92 or 93 on the street, depending where you're at.
Thanks for the advice...I purchased the PCIII.

PC3 maps for fuel. what's not taken up by fuel is air, so in a way you are doing a/f...by controlling for fuel. believe it or not, bike makes more power when running lean than running rich....but at the cost of burnt pistons, etc.

dude that is like 2 down in the front...that is some wheeleing power and scream on highway!

ahh I'm not much of a fast rider. I keep it to around 85-90 on the highway, so the revs don't bother me too much. I used to ride a 955i Speed Triple, and you kind of get addicted to the torque When I test rode this bike, I was very surprised at how well it pulled . . until the owner told me he regeared her. Alright, I bought my 02 F4i stock, then I put a -1/+2 sprocket kit on it and i could do throttled second gear wheelies. Then I put a powercommander IIIR in it with the proper map and I can clutch it up in third and it hops in 4th. And I'm not ****ting

The PowerCommander III is not compatible with the Accelerator Pump Module that you get for FREE from powercommander.com
The PowerCommander IIIR is compatible with it and you can adjust how much extra fuel the bike gets and for how long it gets it along with how much twist of the wrist you need before it starts to pump extra into it.

Next upgrade on the list is a fFull Akropavic Exhaust system ($1600 smackers)[&:]

I put a Yosh TRS CF can on mine, PCIII, stock filter and had a custom map made, and my '05 F4i is putting down 100HP at the rear wheel on a Dyno. I also just regeared it -1/+2 and it is a wheelie monster at this point, although top speed is only like 135mph or so...

As for your stock horsepower. Im my repair manual, it says stock "at the engine" is 108.
Thats out of the book.

I bought a PCIII USB and I think its perfect.
You can dial in whatever map fits your bike on a laptop and you get a free upgrade from Power Commander.com that called a Accelerator Pump Module. You can pretty much dial in an extra shot of gas at a certain percentage and for a certain number of Engine Rotations.

Havent gotten to play with it yet but i will.

well on the topics of PC3s and air filters and exhausts. if you get the later two, might was well step up and get the pc3. problem with putting in a K&N is that the bike is now running more air, but you;re got the exhauste on there two so it kinda cancels it out but it should still be returned (where the PC3 comes in). here is the dyno from a stock f4i

Hey, I have the same bike as you and was thinking about getting the PCIII soon. I got a slip on akrapovic carbon exhaust and absolutly love the thing it's atleast 10 lbs lighter then the stock and the sound is great not to mention you can reach down and grab the carbon even after riding for a few hours.

you got any pic's of your bike with all the mods on it? and how diffrent is it with the PCIII?
it worth the money ?

I'LL be gettin some pics tonight, after i finish the front signals and i'll post them, on my 02 with the pciii and sprocket change, the 0-90 is alot quicker and the throttle just seems to be very even from idle to redline in every gear.
