F4i weird sound while throttling - sound file attached

i replaced mine last weekend with the newer part number, took about an hour or so and no more rattle, you dont realise how annoying it is untill its gone

Fellas, is this part the cam chain tensioned or lifter, cause I looked at the part illustration and the tensioner looks like a curved rod and the lifter looks like the part u all are removing and changing...

^^^help, i want to order and fix this already. also, i was going through an electronic parts finder and cant find the part number you all listed 14520-mbw-j24k. is this number correct?

I dont know the Honda updated part, i used the APE manual cam chain tensioner......but i know its listed somewhere here in the forum.....i did this last year so i dont have the bookmarks anymore....just do a search of cct ..

thanks j4, im paranoid about the manual cct. does anyone know what the part is though a cam chain tensioner or lifter? read my post above j4. thanks.

14520-mbw-j24 (lifter, tensioner) is the correct part.....i dont know where you got the k at the end though...

make sure you get gasket...part #5 on the map

When you installed the new one, did you just tighten it until its tight or did you use a torque wrench? if yes, whats the torque spec?

Or to anyone who replaced their CCT can also chime in with my query.

I'm planning on replacing mine this Friday.

just tighten it, there is very little room for a torque wrench....you'll see..
