Default F4i vs RR spark plugs

I'm going back and forth trying to decide to get the F4i or RR. I'm thinking F4i since it looks easier to work on and may sound silly, but I like to use 87 octane. Its not the few cents extra its having to do something special. Besides, premium has probably been stored in the tanks far FAR longer than regular. But this is all besides the point.

I'm looking at both manuals and they both use iridium tipped plugs, but the RR says to replace at 32k while the F4i is for 16k replacement intervals.

I don't know how much attention to pay to the RR manual since it doesnt even state an interval for replacing the air filter. But why would two similar bikes using simlar spark plugs have one bike using double the interval of the other?

youre over thinking it, replace the plugs when they need to be replaced my budies got 30k on his stock plugs and they are fine and his bike runs great

the f4i came out in 01, and the rr in 03, they probably just realized you didnt have to do it as often
