f4i vs rr

i have an 06 f4i and i love the comfort of it
but i got on my buddies 06 rr and i did notice
that the rr seemed to have a little more get
up and go than my f4i, but i think i will stick
with my f4i for the comfort factor alone.

just a bit of useless info to share.

06 yellow f4i

RE: f4i vs rr

is there even any real performance difference between the rr and the f4i besides just like the rear swing arm and suspension?

RE: f4i vs rr

True, but I feel likethe F4iaccelerates faster than the RR b/c it has more torque. But the RR will win in the long run...

RE: f4i vs rr

yea more torque would make it faster off the line but if its low end then the rr would probably end up catching up and passing at higher speeds, are their any other differences though of is that pretty much it

I thought the RR had more torque? maybe I'm wrong.

RE: f4i vs rr

they probably have similar peak torque #'s, but the torque curve for the F4i has more area in the midrange.

the F4i (pre-04's) are slightly faster than the RR in the 1/4 mile.
