Well there's your problem right there - it's an AAP battery LOL (I work there, and they aren't exactly the best, haha)

lol at least he admits it, but yeah I plan to get the good battery and redo the connections.

I'm just still debating on replacing the FPR. It does blow out a little bit of white smoke when you first start it

 

Yeah, we don't sell a lot, so they end up sitting for awhile, and by the time you actually purchase them, they are somewhat old.

I say replace the battery (like you are), redo the connections, and see if any problems still remain.
