RE: F4i on the Track....Finally!
What is weird about it? I dont see anything wierd about it. Do you mean that I dont have my knee flung out and am hanging halfway off the bike?
Not sure when each pic was taken throughout the day but at the start of the day I was compensating hugely for the suspension being off.
After a session or two we adjusted the trail and it got better but, with having stocksuspension I could only do so much without feeling like the bike wanted to tuck.
Now that I got the first trackday on the F4i out of the way, I am re-doing the suspension to better handle my big body.

Your upper body is too centered. Your head should be around where the mirror is. **** to tank.

Actually moving your head away from the bike is a detriment over advantage. Generally the riders head should be positioned over the handlebars. You should be able to draw a line through the front wheel, through the triple clamps, and then through the riders head.
There are some racing circumstances where a racer might allow his head and shoulders to fall inside of center when the bike has reached the max lean angle that the rider will use. Most body positioning problems occur by many riders who look at too many pictures and think what they see is correct.
I agree however that I wasnt tucking as much as I should have been.

Current issue of Sportrider talks about the differences in body position.
Whenever someone posts their trackday pictures, it doesn't take long for someone to criticize their body position. It's nice to get advice but Damn! He didn't ask for the advice.
I would have said something like "your 4th and 5th pics were the best" and left it at that.
Sorry for the rant. Post on dudes.
