I am going through my carbs, again, and decided to change the gaskets. After thinking I could just roll by the hardware store and scoop up some small o-rings, I soon figured out that was not gonna work. After looking online and finding out I can order them, the store wants 60 bucks for 10 o-rings!!!! Really people? Really!! Does anyone know the exact I.d size of the small gaskets?

 

Not sure about an F1, but all the gaskets I've looked up for my F4i (slow oil leak somewhere) are ridiculously expensive. Such is the life of motorcycle ownership; all the parts are at a premium price, even if the construction is no different than that of a car.

They are PN 16040-MN4-003. Search that PN on ebay and you can see them. Don't ask me why there are two pairs of 0-rings in different sizes in the bag.

Actually, that PN has been superceded to 16040-MM5-601 and the little bastards are STILL about $40 delivered for the 6 ****** o-rings for the complete fuel rail. The two vent T's will run you another $25 for another pair.

Sometimes you just have to eat the cost of OEM quality. Put it this way - at least you're replacing them yourself and not paying a giant premium for a shop to do it - they'd charge you probably double for just the o-rings themselves.
