Default F4i or TL1000R

Im not sure what to do guys I think the F4i is going to be a little small for me (6"1 220lbs) and my friend is selling his 2003 TL1000R.
Heres the deal with the F4i I bought it from one of my friends and customized the whole thing for a winter project and still doing it, but I could sell it and get the TL which is physically a bigger bike for me but its bone stock exept for the yoshi bolt ons.
Both bikes are in mint condition the f4i has about 1800 on it and the TL has about 7500 on it

The TLR has a strong engine, but there big and heavy, build quality not great but its wether you can cope with the ugliest back end ever fitted to a motorcycle??
Ride em-compare em and see which one you prefer
My suggestion is to keep cbr for track daze and buy tlr for road use---wadya think?

I would say the f4i if I had to choose between the 2 bikes that 1000 is just big and bulky, I don't think you will have a problem with a 600..and you can always mod it to make it have a little more power...how long have you been riding?

Ive been riding street bikes off and on for yrs the F4i is my 4th street bike but Ive been riding dirt bikes ever since I was little, as far as size is Im not worried about the TL being physicallybigger thats actually the main reason Im thinking about it.

I found a website that says the
TL1000r is:
82.7 inches long
44.1 inches in height
29.1 wide
434 lbs

and the F4i is:
81.1 inches long
44.5 inches in height
27 inches wide
374 lbs

but looking at both of them the TL looks alot bigger but according to the numbers I found its not really too much bigger only weighs more for the most part

My buddy has a TL1000 and I kinda like it. You don't see to many and it sounds good. I never looked at the ergos, you gotta at least sit on the Suzuki and then give it some thought.

TL1000R looks bulky as hell....just my opinion

Test drive it and see how it feels and then go from there

I'm about 6' 1" and weight at least 220. The F4i hauls me around comfortably, although my preference is still the F4 over the F4i.

Now the Tiller would be a fun bike... but you don't need it based on size. You only need it if you for some reason like it more.

I think a better question is, what type of riding do you do? If you're into short rides and wheelies then the Tiller is going to be fun. If you're planning on road tripping a bit more then the F4i has got some perks.

As woot says the TL is a brilliant short range rocket, plenty of torque and great wheelie power. On e thing to consider is that its a twin cylinder is a different riding feeling than a four. Twins are good for low down torque and sound sweet but there kinda vibey and depending on its set up can be a *** to ride in town ( the throttle was almost on and off ). I've had the TL and more recently the VTR1000 Superhawk ( which i traded for the f4i i have now ), and as a personal opinion stick with the f4i, its a much more flexible bike and more user friendly.
