Dealerships are a bit overpriced. I went down today to price a new sprocket and chain, and they want 350 uninstalled. and 250 with a 520. I can do it myself and kit it for 129. Just cuz you got the bike there, doesnt mean you have to buy all their stuff there.

wow what the hell makes these plugs so expensive???? you can get 100k tripple platnum plugs for a car for 8 bucks a piece. and yes i know this isnt a car but not matter how u look at it a spark plug does the same job in both.

check out sparkplugs.com's facts...you can use plats in the f4i. i have done so without any problems.

 

Yeah dead post, but no one answered this question.....the only difference I can see is that you don't need to change them as much. I have 26k on mine and I took them out and cleaned them a bit but I would rather install new plugs. Due to funds I will prolly just put plat. plugs in there. It is not that hard to change plugs on the F4i...

 

Plugs .I get mine from summit racing.I find the cheapest price and have them price match.

I havent installed mine yet.But i got ngk iridiums(not the cheaper ix versions) for 10.59 each.

 

don't get your plugs from the dealer, way over priced. i got my ngk's from a lil auto shop for like $11 a piece.

 

I agree with the champions. I had an ATK 406 2-stroke thatfouled NGK's every 5-6 hrs of riding. Put champions on, and they would go 8-9
P.S.Where are the spark plugs located?
P.P.S. My dealer wanted $69.00

 

I got my NGK Iridium plug for my F4 for $40. The dealer only charged me around $10 each. i installed them myself, took a little bit, but got her done.
