+1 on 12k DIY... I'm doing it myself currently. A plus if you have/can borrow a rear wheel stand.
I changed my plugs ($64 at local shop for NGK Iridiums) but the old ones were pretty good (service manual recommends change at 16k). So unless you have problems just run some seafoam through the fuel tank and wait on the plugs...
I did only the tire-change at the stealership, that too was around 125 bucks (I took the bike in).

www.sparkplugs.com ..... I've gone through a few sets of plugs in my bike, and I've looked everywhere online, and they are by far the cheapest around. $11 per plug, you won't find them cheaper other than maybe ebay, but you gotta make sure you get the right ones
