Are f4i riders more safety conscious?

I think now that the F4i has been around for almost 10 yrs that might be a true statement to a point. The riders who had bought them new (ie. me) have aged gracefully (lol) and as a rule, ride abit more conservatively/safer.
Also most of the younger riders are buying new bikes (600/1000RR) so that leaves them out of the equation.
As far as riding in the heat,if its over 90 deg I usually dont ride but when I do I have a Joe Rocket Pheonix mesh jacket that I wear with helmet, gloves, boots etc.
To me its simply not worth it to be sweating my *** off on the bike.I'll just take the truck.

I'm not from Illinois but I can say that up in Canada, the weather definitely impacts younger riders' choice in gear, as well as what type of bike they ride. When it gets to 90 or so, the young guys on sport bikes stop wearing their jackets and pants (we have mandatory helmet laws Canada wide).
As far as the bike thing goes, guys on cruisers are more likely to go without jackets than sport bikes, but as for individual brands, I've noticed that you will see any brand with a jacketless rider.
I wear a textile jacket always, with jeans and boots. If I had a cruiser, for some odd reason, I'm sure I'd make a bad decision and wear a half helmet and t-shirt and cruise the strip. But then again, you don't look as cool on a cruiser when you're dressed up like a power ranger.

That's a sad truth. When I was riding a cruiser, the only gear I had was a half helmet and I hardly ever wore it. It just doesn't go with the "look" of riding a cruiser. Now I wear a full-face helmet, jacket and jeans everytime, even when its 115 degrees here in Phoenix.

From my experience with the few runs I have been on the RR's and sportier bikes tend to go the the younger crowd, the F4i riders are usually 30+ and have families and others to think about when riding. I know I usually end up sweeper as I ride my ride and always remember I have a family at home that needs me to keep them feed and a roof over their head.
I lost my father at a very young age due to a motorcycle accident so do not want my kids and now grandson to experience the life loss I went through.
