RE: F4I Pricing
from Motorcycle Consumer News Fall Used Value Guide:
$4295
from www.nada.com
Low Retail: $3265
Average Retail: $4295
from www.kbb.com
Suggested retail: $4720 (that's using my zip code)
I've found kbb.com values to be a little over priced. The nada.com values seem to be a little closer to the real world.
The c/f slipon and other customizing typically don't add much, if anything, to the value regardless of what the owner might hope....
Good luck.

^ pretty much right.
unless the bike has chrome or some crazy performance crap, i would say that 4k is a good buy. for 4.5k that better be the most mintiest looking machine ever.
however, some people would say that 5k is fair because the market in their area has a much lower supply of used bike and that causes the price to maintain in higher digits.

a guy i work with is selling his 2000 f4 with around 6k miles on it. has cromed rims, frame, swingarm, and is as clean as you are gonna find. also has a pipe and some other add ons. he is asking 4500obo. in the cleveland area. i have seen them going around 3800-4500 in the cleveland area which is a bit north of you but not far.
