I'm sorrry, I was taking your post seriously until you said "conventional forks are only used on entry level/super old bikes".

notice right before that I said for dirtbikes....

So if you actually read that part and still made this comment, then what kind of motocross races are you watching? Because the suspension on those bikes is so advanced. There isn't a modern stock mx bike that has conventional forks. Sport bikes are obviously following, as the newer ones have inverted forks. I don't know everything, or even much of anything. But I know that the forks on my 05 CR125 will soak up that 150' jump a hell of a lot better than the conventional forks on my 03 xr100. So go ahead and tell me why you don't take me seriously?
