Default An F4i Giv'n another chance in life

So I picked upa F4i from a family member for a cheap price and decided to tackle a fun project.
The bike is a 2002 F4i (14000kms) and it went down on its side and slid into a curb.
The right side fairing, complete right handle bar assy, speedometer, upperfairing and bracketwere
completly gone. Before buying the bike i had the local bike garage measure and inspect the
frame, wheels, fork and tail. It was still perfectly square and no stress marks or cracks.
Engine was inspected for cracks, leaks and compression test was done. Engine tested perfect.

Soo...2 months later and alot of eehbaying and craigslisting.....total of $4500CAD later...
the bike went from this:

To this!....Paint is 2007 MDX Pearl White and Honda Red.
It is completly restored to new and rides flawlessly!......
This was my first ever bike project. Im definatly going to do one again. I
m looking for an RC51 now
ENJOY THE PICS!!

Wow. Amazing job. I love the red on white. Are you missing a rear peg on the left side?

Upper fairing was from Ebay and lower fairings were from someone locally...all used

the stickers I got from my local Honda parts store. Friend works there and gave them to me at cost

Are those frame sliders coming out of the side fairings? If so how did you get them like that and where did you get them from.

Looks real nice man, that's close to what I've got going with my F4i. It was wrecked and now I have her road ready again. Nothing near as nice as yours though. My budget is making mine into a streetfighter until I can afford to bering her back to a nice lookin bike. Do you have any extra parts that you wanna get off your hands...like that red tank?

Awesome job! Could never tell it was in an accident! Someday, I hope to take on a project like that.
