Default F4I fairings wont fit properly?

Yesterday I wanted to clean my bike and decided to remove the fairings so I can wipe down the insides. I unscrewed the front fairings, air ducts and mirrors then pop off goes the front fairing! good thing I caught it and I started freaking out and immediately tried to put it back. Please note this is my first time I was trying to remove the fairings. After 40 minutes of trying to get it all back I finally did. I noticed though the fairings arent like sticking correctly. I provided two pictures below and you can see in the front fairing the lower part has like a gap and is not close to the headlight. The side fairings also has a gap. It is really bothering me because it is quite noticeable.

Normal...mine do it too. If you can take the air duct covers off again, look at the little tab type hook thing on them. That needs to slide into something on your fairing. That might get it closer, but mine is right about where yours is with the tab in place. My front looks worse than yours because my HID harnesses are pushing down on it. Not a big deal really.

You may have 'tweaked' it when it popped loose on you or racked it, getting it back on. Try gently loosening all of the inner fastners (with it in place), then sort of palm the whole thing and give it a wiggle to see it you can get it to all settle into place. Then re-tighten all of the fastners again.

Any time you re-assemble something, it's a good practice to start all the screws, bolts, etc. BEFORE you tighten anything, then go around snugging them all, and then a final trip around to final torque.
