F4i Discontinued!!!

RE: F4i Discontinued!!!
Hasn't the trend seemed to be towards manufacturers offering multiple options in the 600cc class with one option being the ***** to the wall race replica and at least one (and sometimes two) more street oriented offerings?
Therefore I'd be surprised (shocked even...) to see the F4i discontinued unless it was in concert with the introduction of a new bike to take it's place as Honda's street entry in the 600cc class. And as far as I know there has been no talk of that...
Eventually Honda will have to do something to update the F4i though...

RE: F4i Discontinued!!!
I doubt it was discontinued. Its probably that it just didnt get anything amazingly new but a paint job and maybe some small stuff.
The 1000RR isnt in the listing. Nor is the RVT100R or Alot of other things.
They just didnt get big changes. Only minor ones that no one is going to care about being different.
Hell the RVT1000R hasnt changed looks since 2000. It looks almost exactly the same since than and its still in the line up for 2006. It has even had a 12 HP increase and I never saw it on TV or anything. Given its a great bike already.
They wouldnt get rid of that or any of the other really well selling bikes.

I still want a RC51. They are badass and the sound is pure sex.

RE: F4i Discontinued!!!
where do you get your info from shraz? making pretty bold statements and not one link to back any of it up. how many years have they made the f4i? 03-06? if anything i could see a new F series bike out, but they would have enveiled it last week, im with dthompson, none of the other bikes were listed, they only had like 5 powersports vehicles listed anyway, and we all know the lineup is bigger than that. i think we have another year or two before we see something like an F5i.

RE: F4i Discontinued!!!
Sorry to drag this back up, but I've been waiting to order an 07 when the new colors came out and both dealers in the Oklahoma City area say that their dealer books don't list the F4i as being available to order in 07. Sorry to have this be my first post, but does someone have anything besides "what would make sense" to counter their claims?
