f4i dan moto rearset review

okay so i was happy with my dan moto pipe, im happy with my dan moto rearsets...

but ill be honest these are a "universal set" i did have to do some modification to get them to work...

but i was very suprised to see these are ball bearing rearsets... which is a plus

here are some pics.... if anyone buys these and wants to know what modification they require to get them to work just post it up

okay guys i had to drill out both holes on each of the rearsets if you want the exact size lemme know, also i had to take a dremmel and take off prolly a 1/16" of aluminum from where the rearsets bolt on... as you can see in that last pics... the top and bottom where the mounting points come to a point is where i ground it down...

so you dremmel like 8 spots

and once its all said and done the top rearset bolt goes in all the way but the bottom sticks out the length of the head... because it doesnt properly line up all the way so ill prolly make some sorta spacer out washers to stick in there

but all said and done for $100 bucks im pretty happy

Those heel plates shouldnt be pointing up. Looks like you still need to adjust the peg mounting plates over a few holes(at the bottom). Looks good though.

Looks like a pretty intense build. I've been looking for alternative rearsets and I came across these on ebay. They're twice the price though and yours look like they would do less wear and tear on shoes from the levers.

They look the same but twice the price. Why pay it??

lol well if he doesnt wanna do any modification to the stuff I could see spending the extra $100 alot of guys dont like grinding on things to get em to work...

^That's the only way I know how! If you don't use a hammer, drill, or grinder you're doing some wrong. :P

I don't know if I like them. They're sharp looking rear sets, but I think it's just a the dark pictures. I hope you're a better bike builder than photographer. ;)

zero yea its because it was late and in my garage the garage light works like crap.... so i had to use teh flash and its black behind the sets so they kinda blend....

im hoping its sunny later today so i can get some light and not have to use my flash
