F4I cooling fan resistance?

Hi, can anybody please take a multimeter to their cooling fan on their F4i and measure what the resistance reading is (in ohms)? I suspect my fan on my bike is drawing too much current. I have an F4 and I'm thinking about putting an F4I cooling fan on it. I suspect F4I fans have better power consumption.

I measured the resistance of my cooling fan motor and the lowest reading i saw was 3.2 ohms. Is that normal for an f4? The strange thing was, the longer i was testing it the higher the reading became. I'm thinking maybe the fan was cooling down after being used... because it shorts out when hot due to expansion? Or the change in resistance is due to a capacitor somewhere.
Thanks!
