F4i cluster/gauges, how to check mileage?

Bought my f4i with about 700 original miles on it, had the title to prove it, but the cluster reads 14000 miles. The previous owner says it was replaced after a minor incident. It had original dunflops in great shape and even the rotors looked perfect so 700 miles looked like an honest answer.

Anyways im looking to buy a lower mileage cluster online but the seller has no idea what the mileage on it is. And says he doesnt have access to another F4i to hook it up. Does anyone know what pins to run 12v and ground to in order to light the thing up and get a mileage read.

I also know of bluegauges.com and they're mileage correction service but would rather not send out my current cluster to be corrected.

hey you can run straight off the battery for 12v to get ur gauges to light up and the Green wires on your bike with dots of gold are your ground wires so if you jsut run a jumper from ur battery to your gauges and to a ground wire they should light up.... and as for ur tach... search on the internet but i know there are some sites that show you how to do a milage role back (hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighly illegal but as long as your truthful when you sell the bike ull be fine)

Ii've been searching for the mileage rollback. Not easy to do on a digital odometer. I cant find any "how-to" articles
