After my 80 mile ride today i decided i like it! You are all right its a perfect accent without being 2 flashy. Im really happy with the way they turned out and i recommend progrip wheeltape to anyone thinking of ordering some. Thanks to all who commented made my decision easier!

looks great, love how rim tape makes an older bike alittle more modern, i also changed the wheel colour on mine to a satin black to make them pop even more.

Right so posing with pictures of a bike as a squidly pseudobiker is the epitome of heterosexuality... thats a new one for me.

I prefer to ride my bike, I couldn't give a flying f*ck what it looks like. I also don't post pictures in order to seek approval and I don't spend my time masturbating over coloured rim stripes and anodised bar ends.

Fitting rim tape is the motorcycle equivalent of waxing your anus.

 

1. it`s about taking pride in things we work hard for. there a little saying (each to their own) you dont need to go searching around taking the **** out of peoples hard work, if you`ve got nothing good say shut the F#@k up, i might not like every thing people do to there bikes, but i can appriciate the hard work they put in to make it the way they like it, and if they ask for assistance making a dicission i try to help, so next time you ask for help be it mechanical or visual i hope every one tells you to jam it up your ***.

 

We try to be positive here, whether we approve or dis-approve of the aesthetics/practicallity
of someone's particular project. A simple comment to the effect of it's not your
style, is all the poster was asking. There's no need to flavor the forum with
personally disparging comments.

On the issue in question, simply saying, "-1, I don't think rim-tape looks good",
would have gotten your view accross, without dissing ALL of the people who DO like
the idea.

I also fail to relate pride and wheel stickers. Pride in your creation extends beyond ordering shiny tat off of ebay and bolting/gluing it on.
