Default F4 preload adjuster diameter measurement

Need help getting this diameter measurement of the preload adjustment. I'm wondering if I can use these parts (and the rebound screw) in my F3 caps. I know the fork diameters are different but maybe the adjustment parts are the same? If anyone has a set of calipers and can get that in mm that would be great!
Thanks!
Pete

SunBlue, thanks, nice set of calipers btw! Very hopeful thats a match to my measurement on that area. I went out and got my adjuster and realized there's probably more measurements I should be getting. These are the others I'd be interested in. If anyone sees a glaring difference between the two parts visually whereas "its not gonna work" let me know!

overall length

threaded part that secures inside cap

threaded part that attaches to outer rod

hole for rebound screw

Thanks it's a hand me down from my dad, and probably the only pro brand I own.
I actually just put together that fork this week so I'm kind of adverse to taking it apart again so soon LOL ... BUT, I'm doing another fork job in a week or so (as soon as parts arrive) so I'll try to take those measurements for you then, if you still need it!

I realized after posting that it would take a total disassembly, was hoping some one else may have one apart too that could check. If you can check whenever its convenient if the other fork gets done that would be awesome. I have a ebay china seller that told me it was a match but communication was a little iffy!
Thanks again!

Hey not sure if u still need these measurements but I finally got around to doing my forks today
Took several measurements and averaged them
Overall Length: 74.09mm
Outer threaded part diameter: 21.83mm
Inner thread rod diameter: 8.6?mm Sorry I didn't take the adjuster off the rod (afraid of messing the settings up) so I just measured the part of the rod next to where it goes in the thread that seemed closest to it. Actual threaded hole is probably a little smaller.
Top adjuster screw: 6.86mm Again I didnt take the rod off so am not sure about the exact thread diameter but if ur measurement is close to that it looks promising.

The only difference I could see visually from pics is that the bottom of my adjuster has a thin cut line ? so I measured that part:
Bottom of adjuster to bottom of outer thread: 19.57mm

Comparing my numbers with yours it looks like it may actually fit hmmm I did try my best to get consistent numbers but not 100% sure if it will work

Sunblue, Hey thanks for getting those! I'm gonna compare them in the am. I'm waiting on some parts from China should be showing up in a week or two. Slight stall on the project but man I need to get the forks back together!

Hey how did you get that adjuster part out? I decided to try and take it off and neither it nor the nut below will budge. Wondering if I'm missing something here.

the adjuster screws "in" all the way through clockwise to get it out. I'd try screwing it in to take some pressure off the nut below. Then remove the nut and screw in the adjuster. If you have a slot head and its mushroomed and jacked up like mine, you'll have to file it round again before it will be able to screw in and through the hole it sits in. Let me know if that doesn't work!
