F4/F4i motor question

Default F4/F4i motor question

other then injection is the motor itself the same

can i take a F4 motor swap out the carbs for TBs and be ok ????

Okay maybe I'm too naive about the way motors work, but I never thought you could change a motor from carbureted to fuel injection, or vice versa, without some serious work...

Unless you have access to a machine shop I wouldn't recommend it.

same motor w/ EFI added. Think the head had a few changes over its run but thats it. They'll swap in n out all day long.

Ah I misread the OP, mounting surfaces may be diff. And if they will you will need the wiring harness, ECU, etc for it too.

it would be much cheaper for you just to by the F4i engine and swap it in
