hello again chestnut. next time it flashes, count to see how many times it flashes

1 + 2 flashes: MAP sensor
7 flashes: faulty ECT
8: TP Sensor
9: IAT Sensor
33 blinks: Falty E2 PROM in ECM

etc etc etc etc it goes on forever.

do the RPM's jump around alot when she's idle? gas mileage around 150 or so between refils? any hesitation? hard to tell really since it has yet to be duplicated. if it's running fine now just go ride it and check back if it happens again. sounds like a very minor problem since the bike isn't dying.

Honestly... i came to this forum because of all the ******** over at another forum.. there's no reason to be a *****, if you don't have anything constructive to say than just don't bother..

not to mention you're ruining our old time slogan "You meet the nicest people on a Honda"

I dont think you were specifically talking to me, but:

I understand where you are coming from. I should have just said "do a search." Because even though I'm fairly new to the forum, its not difficult to find the search feature to ask the kind of questions hes filling up the board with. Plus, a quick search to find a downloadable manual would probably be the absolute first thing to do before asking any questions.

I have fewer posts because I know how to look for information....he should learn to use it first before posting.
