Default Exhaust question, please advise

Hi Folks. I have a '05 F4i with the stock exhaust pipe, which I decided to change because it has too many rashes and a really ugly bent. I bought another stock exhaust on ebay, but it is from a '06 model (I guess a CA bike) and it has a plug to screw the oxygen sensor (which I don't have). Looking in the original pipe, it doesn't have anything attached. Which is the best way to put the '06 exhaust in my bike? Should I simply put something to fill the oxygen sensor plug? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yep, a local exhaust shop should have bolts in stock that are the right threadsize/pitch for oxygen sensors

If it's a standard automotive O2sensor size, then it's probably an M18 x 1.5 thread. Plugs in that size should be easily available in the aftermarket for people who use a wideband for tuning only and then need to plug the bung when everything is right.
