Exhaust question

I'm building a street fighter, and I absolutely despise how big a normal slip on is. Since I won't have fairings, is it possible to have a side exit like on a newer gsxr or r6? Pic attached.

Yes, it's possible. What it will do to the bike's drivability is another issue. You're probably gonna need to chop the mid-pipe then use an adapter to mount whatever muffler you choose.

Both the GSXR and R6 side exits don't actaully act as mufflers so putting one on is the same as a strait pipe. It will sound horrible.

get a moto-gp style muffler off ebay, they are small and discreet, and inexpensive. better than just a straight pipe, looks nice too. check them out, I was gonna get one, but then i found a used yoshi for a few bucks more.

It looks like a straight pipe. I don't want it obnoxiously loud
