Exhaust link pipe help

I must have posted this in the wrong section previously, can anyone in this neck of the woods help?

I have an F Sport with the stock exhaist can, I've been given a Carbon can from what I believe is a 98 CBR which I'll only have to pay £40 for if it fits..

..That's where you come in, it looks like the mount is in the right place but will it work ok, has anyone done this before? I can't imagine it's an uncommon thing to have tried so how will I know what link pipe will work?

Thanks for your time.

Thank you for the reply, looking at those pictures though would the exhaust I have not fit? Shall I post a picture of the can I'm trying to fit? that might help!

Basically looking at those pictures you posted the exhaust I've got doesn't have the pipe already like your F4 picture and it looks a lot like the F4i pipe could fit on it!

I can't see your post yet but I got some images. It appears to be a Micron and potentially actually for my model?
